Summer Solstice Regatta, 6/21/03 : We had a "Summer Solstice Regatta" at Hueston woods on June 21, 2003. It was "hosted" by Sheila and Don Traut. They invited people with traditonal and unconventional boats, like Cape Cod Catboats. Due to the previous week's bad weather, turnout was poor, but lots of fun for those who came. Sheila and Don had their Menger 19 Catboat. Barb and Mike Scheibeck had their Sea Pearl 21. Brad Glazer and his brother-in-law, Bob Feldman, came for the ride. Bob owns Julie's Mountain Bikes, which is the bike rental place for the park. Bob also sells many bikes and parts over the internet. Brad has a Marshall Sandpiper Catboat, but, because of weather, couldn't get it off of Cowan Lake.
