Directions & Pictures to Mud Bug at Kent's Harbor on Brookville Lake : Directions to Kent’s Harbor Marina from Cincinnati Take I-74 West to Hwy 52 north to Brookville, then take Hwy 101 north to the Fairfield ramp (Old Hwy 101), turn left and follow it about 2 miles. Look on the left for a sign that says Kent’s Harbor – Ainsley’s Café – Sagamore Resort. Turn left there. It looks like you are entering a subdivision. If the road ends at the Fairfield boat launching ramp, you went a little too far. (see map below) This is where it gets tricky. When you enter to “compound”, the easiest way to find the dock is turn left at the first road (there will be a one-way sign ahead of you). Then, turn left again at the first or second road. At the dead-end, turn right and follow it to I-Dock. The docks at Kent's Harbor Marina are named A Dock, B Dock, etc. thru I Dock. I am at dock # I-32, on I Dock, of course. When facing the harbor, I Dock is all the way on the left, in other words, the last one on the left. You will notice the parking is different for I Dock than it is for the others. You can park on the dirt road right by the ramp to the dock. There is no need to park at the top of the hill and walk down. Walk down the ramp to the gate. We have the first dock past the gate on the right. Here are alternative directions, which MAY be a little faster if you don’t get behind slow-moving tractors, however, there is a good chance you will get lost. I don’t vouch for these directions since I got them mainly by word-of-mouth, and had to fill in the details. Take I-275 W to Hwy. 27 N. (NOTE: It’s only about 2 miles further to I-74). Turn L on High St., which I think is in Millville. High St. may also be Rt. 126 W, which changes name to 252 W after crossing into Indiana. Turn R onto Whitcomb Rd. Turn L onto Pea Ridge Rd. Turn R onto HWY 101 Then take Hwy 101 north to the Fairfield ramp (Old Hwy 101), turn left and follow it 2 miles until you see water. Kittens - August 24, 2008 : On Saturday night, August 23, 2008, Michelle was taking out Chloe (our dog). She thought she saw gerbils in the driveway. I went out and looked. You couldn't quite tell what they were, as it was very dark, and they were walking away. They looked to me like they may have been kittens. Anyway, the next morning, we saw that they were. So we're looking for a good home for them. These pictures were taken on August 24, 2008.
